Aaron Wong

Aaron moved to Australia with his wife Catherine and joined the team at Symmetry physiotherapy in May 2006. He is currently consulting at out Hoppers Crossing and Altona North clinics. Aaron has a keen interest in sports injuries, lower limb biomechanics and exercise prescription and rehabilitation.
Earlier this year Aaron and Katherine celebrated the birth of their beautiful daughter Isabella.
Abby Speakman

Abby has a keen love for many sports and has competed at the elite level in both lacrosse and netball. She represented Australia in the 2003 Under 19 Lacrosse World Cup in Baltimore, USA, and has represented Victoria during numerous National Championships. Furthering this sporting interest, Abby has been the team physiotherapist for the Williamstown Soccer Club and both the Senior and Junior Victorian lacrosse teams as well as the state based physiotherapist for the Australian under 19 women’s lacrosse team.
Abby is working at both our Hoppers Crossing and Williamstown clinics. She has a keen interest in assessing and managing sporting injuries, particularly knee, ankle and lower limb injuries. She has also recently completed her pilates training and is running classes at the Hoppers Crossing clinic
Mark Round

Mark was the physiotherapist for the Australian and Victorian baseball teams from 1998 to 2002, and is currently a consultant to the Victorian Institute of Sport, baseball academy.
He works with the local Hoppers Crossing Football Club as well as working with elite tennis players and is the consulting to “the Wallabies” (The Australian Rugby Team) when they are in Melbourne.
From this sporting team involvement, Mark has extensive expertise in the treatment and rehabilitating of shoulder and knee injuries.
Mark is ultimately very passionate about Symmetry Physiotherapy providing quality physiotherapy care to our local communities.
Alex Lopes

Alex is also a trained Clinical Pilates instructor and has worked alongside the Australian Clinical Pilates educator. Alex has designed and supervises the Altona North and Hoppers Crossing Pilates group class program. She is also developing three pelvic floor and continence clinics at Hoppers Crossing, Altona North and Taylors Lakes.
Alex is currently completing her Masters of Women’s Health at The University of Melbourne.
Belinda Keogh

Belinda has developed a special interest in sports physiotherapy, working with various state and national sporting teams. Current involvement includes the Victorian Junior Volleyball squad and Victorian U18 Baseball squad. She has also had extensive training in clinical pilates and uses pilates exercises in helping recovery for patients with spinal pain as well as pre and post natal care.
On a personal note, Belinda has been a state level representative in athletics and competes regularly in athletics, cycling and triathlons.
Daniel Beckman

Throughout the degree, Daniel gained experience within several leading hospitals in Melbourne, as well as the private sector and various sporting clubs. Most recently he has been involved in recovery management with A-League’s Melbourne Heart, as well as St Kevin’s Old Boys and South Melbourne Districts football clubs.
Daniel’s clinical interests lie within musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, as well as sports injuries. This is consequential to a background in soccer, having played representative soccer as a young teenager and in State Leagues as a senior. Daniel is excited to join the staff at Symmetry Physiotherapy and has plans for continued study to become a Sports Physiotherapist.
